I have always been an artist. I drew, built or carved my way through childhood. I married, raised children and waved good-bye as they launched into their own lives. Now there are all those thoughts and feelings rattling around in my brain. You know, all those thoughts you didn’t have time to think through or ponder because you were so busy.
Well, they are still there waiting to be explored. What I create in silver always means something to me. but I am finding they speak just as strongly to my customers. Sometimes the exact same message, sometimes word for word. But other times they mean something completely different and just as profound to someone else. Sometimes I get notes from people who don’t buy but are affected nonetheless and share their stories. I am enthralled by the depth and diversity of human experience.
So, if you see that I have made yet another leaf, you can say “Oh, how lovely” and enjoy the leaf. Or, you can listen in profound silence and see what it whispers in your ear.
The choice is yours. Choice. Free will choice is the greatest gift. How will you use it?
