Hawks eye is a blue Tiger Eye . It does the same flashy chatoyant thing with the light.The highlights stay in motion as you move. I cut this stone,it has some gold streaks in it. It has a subtle raised edge down the center of the stone that bends the light play for further affect. A mothbat is more whimsical than biologically correct. This mothbat is 2 1/8 ” tall by 2 3/8 ” wingspan. The bail is a generous 9mm inner diameter for multiple choices in chains. There is a lot of silver in this piece. Handmade precious metal pieces hold their value even in hard economic times.
