Description
This is an opal from Australia. It is petrified wood that has opal running thru it. The wood grain actually runs across the opal parts which is unusual. The opal is mostly blues and green flashes but there are some red flashes and a bit of yellow in there, too. The opal actually lets you look down into the stone. The pendant has a tendril pattern flowing behind it and some chain behind that to give motion to the design. The three pieces move independently on a ring that a leaf bail holds. Wearing a beautiful fossil around your neck is sure to start some wonderful conversations!
Pendant is 2 1/4 inches tall by about 5/8 of an inch wide. Silver has been blackened and brought back up to a high shine to bring out the details. Bail can hold a medium sized chain.
All parts were handcrafted, fabricated by me, Creative Eddy, using Tarnish resistant Sterling silver sheet and wire. Stamped Heart’s Desire, My Maker’s Mark, and sterling on the back. This is one-of-a-kind, when it’s gone- it’s Gone!
