Description
This is a night sky pendant. The stone is a violet blue but looks black most of the time. When the light hits it just right it throws out multiple colors of light. Looks like the night sky. The stone is an Iolite sunstone, there are copper inclusions in the stone that give off the sparkles. This type of sparkling is called a Schiller Effect. Quite stunning. The stone is very crackly with lots of veils in the stone but none of them go completely through the stone to weaken it. The bezel fitting protects the stone. There is a quarter moon on the bail to complete the night sky theme. The sparkles don’t happen all the time. But when they do it is very eye catching. Add this wonderful stone to your wardrobe and start some wonderful conversations!
Pendant is 1 1/2 inches tall by 3/4 of an inch wide. The Sterling silver has been blackened and brought back up to a high shine to bring out the details of the leaf and tendril on the sides of the bezel.
All parts are handcrafted, fabricated by Creative Eddy using tarnish resistant Sterling silver sheet and wire. Stamped Heart’s Desire and sterling on the back of the bail.
