Dazzling Copper Spiny Oyster and Turquoise Dangle Earrings, Keum Boo Sterling Silver Brutalist Gemstone Earrings

These are manmade stones that put spiny oyster shell, turquoise and copper together in a lovely mosaic. I have added 24 k gold foil to the border around these stones and added copper, too. The gold is heat bonded to the silver using the Keum Boo technique. The claws that hold the stones vary in length to give these earrings a very Brutalist Look. The borders were then textured with a hammer and stamped with a design to make them as active as the stone patterns. A genuine high quality London Blue Topaz tops the angular designs of these earrings. They are 5mm faceted round stones in a bezel fitting. The bezel links give movement to the design so that they move when you do.

These earrings are 2 3/4 inches tall. The metals have been blackened and brought back up to a high shine to make the contrast between the metals more dramatic. The ear hooks are simple but stay in your ears.

All parts were handcrafted by me, Creative Eddy, using tarnish resistant Sterling silver sheet and wire, 24 k gold foil and flattened copper wire. Stamped with my Makers Mark: Hearts Desire and sterling and 24k on the back. Custom orders available upon request.
