Sterling Silver Brutalist Picasso Jasper Gemstone Earrings, Artisan Gray and Black Earrings

I just love Picasso Jasper. It has many shades of blacks and greys with some warm tones thrown in. And the patterns! They are endless. This one looks like barbed wire to me in an abandoned horse pasture. The fitting claws reflect the barbed nature of the patterning, making this very brutalist in appearance.

Earrings are 1 inch long below the ear hook and 5/8 of an inch wide. The silver has been blackened and brought to a smokey finish to blend with the grays in the stone. Ear hooks are comfortable and don’t fall out- a win/win.

All parts were fabricated by Creative Eddy using Tarnish resistant Sterling silver wire. Stamped with my Maker’s Mark Heart’s Desire and sterling on the back of one earring.
