Koroit Boulder Opal and Chrysocolla Deva Pendant, Green Tiger Opal and Chrysocolla Hinged Pendant

Description

This is a Sterling silver Brutalist Style Deva pendant. Devas are spirits of the air, associated with communication. These are fantasy forms, head and body stones, usually with a hinge, like this one, in between the stones to give it life. Like people, each deva has its own flavor or character, unique and One -of-a-kind.

This deva has a Koroit Boulder opal as a head, it is a brown, black and cream-colored patterned stone. Running along the bottom of the stone and up into the middle of the stone are bright green and blue tiger stripes of flashing opal. It flashes at you when you are not expecting it, as the light changes across its surface. Kind of like suddenly talking. The flashing opal is mostly intense green but there is some blue at the bottom and very top right of the stone, too. The video I picked shows the blue the best, you will see mostly green though. The body is a green chrysocolla with black dendrites patterning one side. The patterns are reflected in the silver patterning of the frame holding the body stone. The same patterning is in the bail that holds the chain or necklace.

All parts are handcrafted, fabricated by me, Creative Eddy, using tarnish resistant Sterling silver sheet and wire. Stamped Heart’s Desire and sterling on the back of the body frame. The silver has been blackened and brought back to a high shine to bring out the details.
