Sterling Silver and Copper Peanut Wood and Swiss Blue Topaz Hinged Earrings

Description

Peanut wood is Petrified wormy wood. The worm holes filled with white agate while the remaining wood petrified into the brown agate. These are high grade stones. The white is opaque, the brown is slightly translucent.The strong blue of the genuine Swiss Blue Topaz complements the brown and white beautifully. There is a hinge between the topaz and the peanut wood fittings to make the earrings more supple. The blue stones are set into copper domes and the balls at the ends of the hinge rods are Nu gold brass. These earrings make a very strong statement and will last for generations if stored thoughtfully.

All bits were fabricated by me using Sterling Silver tubing ,sheet and wire. I also used Copper and Red Brass.

Variations available upon request. Earrings are Ooak and can’t be replicated exactly.
